What to expect
Whether you’ve been a Christian for a long time, or are interested in exploring what that means, Mountain Park welcomes you. Every Sunday, through contemporary worship, caring relationships and Bible-based practical messages, we discover a bit more of who God is and what He created us to be.
What you’ll find at Mountain Park is:
- Casual dress
- Real people
- No pressure
- Great coffee!
- Authentic community
- Practical, generous friendship
- A touch of the unexpected
We start Sunday with coffee at 9:30 am. People gather for conversation and connecting before the service. We start our service at 10 am, usually with music and singing as a way to worship God as a community all together.
After that we sometimes take a community break – where we visit, chat and connect with friends new and existing. We sometimes have ministry time either during the service or at the end. Ministry time is an opportunity for you to pray and be prayed for by people in the Mountain Park community. It’s also an opportunity to spend some quiet time alone in prayer or reflection if you prefer. Whatever your choice, we invite you to feel at home at Mountain Park and let us know how we can serve you.
There is a nursery available for children 3 and under, and a full kids program for ages 4 to grade 5. The kids head out to their program before the teaching time begins. Our service usually finishes up around 11:30 am after the teaching has finished. We encourage you to hang around and connect with others or make plans to spend time together over lunch.
Once a month we share a meal together and have an all-church lunch – a kind of pot luck hosted by our Hospitality Team. We usually ask members of the Mountain Park community to contribute to the meal. If you are our guest, then please know lunch is our treat. We are so pleased you can join us.
Our website gives you a small glimpse into the life of our church outside of Sundays we well. Check out all the ways you can CONNECT and begin to find your place at Mountain Park and in God’s story.
So if you like what you see, whether you are seeking spiritual truth for the first time, or continuing a journey you’ve been on for many years, we invite you to come next Sunday and experience Mountain Park first hand.
