Our team

Mike Sherbino

Dr. Mike Sherbino is our interm Lead Pastor for Mountain Park Community Church. Mike brings 30 plus years of ministry experience including planting and pastoring churches across Canada. Other things that have shaped him have been numerous cross cultural experiences. He enjoys all forms of media and looks for ways to provide the public with clear and compelling reasons why the Christian perspective is worth embracing. But most of all, Mike loves God, his beautiful wife Terrie, his 5 daughters, his 2 son-in-laws, 2 granddaughters, motorcycles, and hockey (But much to his staff’s dismay he’s a Leafs fan so that doesn’t count).

Steve Roukema

As Youth and Young Adults Pastor, Steve has a heart to demonstrate the love of Christ as he ministers to youth, young adults and those who influence them. He and his wife, Janna, desire to have Christ at the centre of everything they do both at home with their 5 children and on mission in the community. Steve loves candy, ice cream, the Church, young people, old people, middle aged, biking, hiking (those last two rhyme!), hockey, his family, and Jesus.

Jenn Wiebe

Jenn is super passionate about seeing Jesus Christ’s incredible love embrace His children (from 0-100 years plus)!! She has a huge heart to see everyone grow in faith and share God’s love with the community and world! Jenn has been a pastor for over 15 years and directs Mountain Park’s Children’s Ministry. Jenn is married and has two wonderful children.

Matt 19:14 Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

Julia Ziegler

Julia loves to discover God in the arts and all things creative and is passionate about sharing him with others. As a professional musician Julia gives her talents back to God both at Mountain Park as our Worship Ministry Director and beyond in her own pursuits of creative and musical excellence. Originally from the southern part of Germany, Julia found her way to Canada via Australia where we are glad she now feels at home. (Ask her for some tips on playing accordion!)
