Mountain Park On Mission
On Mission for Jesus
At Mountain Park, we believe we are always on mission for Jesus – in our everyday life, in all things both big and small. We are all his disciples, learning to love more people and live more generously as we grow in him.
Our Missions Committee seeks to equip our congregation both individually and as a body to know Jesus’ missional heart for lost and hurting people. We hope to inspire, challenge, and support the congregation to partner with God in advancing His kingdom in Abbotsford and beyond. This includes individual people and people groups and encompasses spiritual, physical, and emotional wholeness.
Is God calling you to join Mountain Park On Mission – either locally or overseas? It would be a privilege for us to hear from you and pray with you for your next steps!
Please contact Sam, Don, or Betty to let us know how we can support you.
Osoyoos Mission Trip
Every summer our church leads an outreach to migrant fruit pickers in the Okanagan. Fruit pickers from all over the world but mostly from Quebec populate the Okanagan every summer as the fruit harvests begin in June. Our team provides meals every evening for up to 600 fruit pickers where we have opportunity to show practical love and care for our guests. In the day, we serve at the Gleaners, helping to prepare thousands of pounds of food for shipment to developing nations. Contact Pastor Terry to find out more.
